Good video editing software?

I need a good video editing software, there's many out there that claim to be the best but I don't know which is really the best. Can someone name a good one?

I don't need links to download it or anything, just need the name.

Try Sony Vegas Pro. That's the best, plus it's easy to get used to.

If you want something more advanced, then Adobe After Effects is great.

Sony Vegas Pro V8.0/V9.0-Really good for slide transition effects and video fusing!
OR
Final Cut Studio V2.0-Really really good for video modifying but not as good as for Vegas Pro for transitions!
I overall prefer the Final Cut Studio because it has alot of things you can use to play around with on your video but its only for Apple computers.... Vegas Pro still is a very good program!

I think the one your talking about could be Vegas...
Although, I don't know whether Vegas is much of a school program...
It's more about professional video editing, especially "Pro" or "Movie Studio"...

well you cant just download it it again itll remember that its been on your computer before and even if you go in and delete the memory of the product info youll be forced to hide it or something lets face it its a pain xP

LOL, the only programs I really bought was the Adobe package and Final cut Studio...
Their not mind-blowing expensive but are worth the value!
