sorry i havent done much on the site lately. I have a lot of stuff to do at home plus I'm making a forum for an alliance in the game travian which took most of my time in the past 2-3 days.

I will make something out of the points and I will add some new forums. I can also add some small updates such as more smilies for topic names.

My school is ending soon but the bad thing is that I'm leaving for 3 weeks right when my vacation starts. I will still have access to the internet but not as much as I do now.

if anyone noticed the hacking forums were moved to vip. The reason i did that is because oreo's site has been shut down and I don't want the same to happen to us. If you want to see check for yourself http://oreosdomain.darkbb.com. I don't think we are in danger since there isn't much hacking stuff here, it isn't the main thing on our site.

LMAO!!!!! HIS SITE GOT SHUT DOWN? HAHAHAHA!!! i think i may have been a part of its shutdown, i put his site domain in this website analyzer and it said it was recognized as a dangerous site, my guess is that it got reported by that, and other website analyzers i used. oh and, now that its down, i can tell u all that i saw a topic on his site that they were gonna hack us again, they posted and listed open ports and everything. i believe it was posted on May 8th xD

EDIT - I have fully confirmed this, one of my website analyzers was http://www.onlineguardian.net.

If forumotion is going through whats hosted on their servers, and oreo's was shut down, that = risk for the other sites too.. Think about it, If K@R10$ is right, and they were talking about hacking this site, common sense says theres a possibility that they'll check here. And I hate to say it Havoc, but if they do more than a quick glance @ your site, or mine, then itll get shut down, Moving things to higher access area's doesn't really work, because when they search sites they also check your SQL/PHP databases, and thats where all the "content" Is actually posted Definately a sucky situation..

Not really, forumotion only gives like...a half database...and you would have to be running the same exact kind of forum for everything to work right...

I think there may be possibility of companies shutting down sites that offer "free downloads" since its pretty much piracy i've seen a few during my searches get shut down

it was a decision i made, i joined the site but then i tried to check it to see if it was safe, and umm...this happened.

ANY webhost can shut down a site that they provide. ANY webhost can check through any file stored on their server. Webhosting providers generally shut sites down because of illegal activities on there server, think about it, If the host allows it, then in the courts eyes, they're supporting it, which means if somebody sues you, the host isn't in any way responsible, and taking down the site saves them hassle.

And unfortunately, it doesn't matter what you have bought for the site (domain, space, etc) On most hosts you enter a terms of use contract, and in that contract it will say somewhere that they still own the site, domain,whatever, that you money is only being used to render services, not the actual product. And, that means, they can shut down your site, sue you if necessary, and, keep any amount of money you have provided to them.....

Thats why most hacking or iso sites are run using apache-based servers, the're being run off somebody's personal computer/server, which frees them from a contract....Then all they have to worry about is the cops

If something happens and we do get shutdown, I will make a new site where I can add whatever I want. It will be much harder so I hope that nothing will happen.
