i need to downgrade my psp

i need to downgrade my psp from 3.51 to 1.5 so i can get a custom firmware(dont worry i wont hack mpo+ ill just get free games). my cousin is getting a psp soon and he downgrades them all the time(they brick alot ).i know that you can use pandora battery to downgrade but i need to make one first.so

i found this site http://www.wikihow.com/Downgrade-Your-PSP-to-Version-1.5-Using-Your-Psp-Battery wich shows you how to downgrade your psp to 1.5 the only problem is i dont know if it works with just one psp . on youtube and on other guides you need a second psp with a custom firmware so if anyone trys it out and it works please say so

pandora works with every psp, i downgraded a slim with it not a long time ago and it worked good.

you could use a datel tool... apparetnly you dont need another psp of cfw of to hard-mod your battery. I'm recieving mine in a week or two, and i'll find out if it works.

i used a datel tool battery on my psp slim, and it worked xcellently
