rapid fire controllers

I just bought one on ebay, I wanted to mod my controller but I don't really feel like it. It's so much easier just to buy one, plus it only cost me 40 bucks and I was going to buy a new controller anyway ^_^
does anyone here use modded controllers?
If anyone doesn't know the controller hits the R or L button like 15 times a second which helps a lot if FPS games like halo 3 or cod. I heard it doesn't work in cod5 anymore though.
