I wanted to know the benifits of me converting my psp to CFW other than being able to ISO but can't u play ISO's on firmware 1.50????? study

a psp with cfw can also run homebrew apps and games, you can use custom themes with gameboots and all that stuff. You can play isos on 1.50 also using devhook I think but cfw is much better.

cool so if i want to play mpo+ i just need to downgrade to 1.5

i don't know if it would work, it would be much more complicated if even possible. I never used 1.50 so I don't have any experience with it but if you can get 1.50 you can easily upgrade to cfw. You should just do that, nobody uses 1.50 anymore.
