taking apart a psp

how do i remove the lcd screen? as it wont budge and i need to replace it

take a screw driver and smash it open and pull it out hard!!

how would that fix it? my plan is full proof 100% reliable!! trust me I tried it because my lcd kept ####### up so I got pissed and decided to fix it!!

well my plan works 2. You collect up all the little pieces and reassemble them

well yeah it works in taking the psp apart but myne works in putting a new lcd screen!! and removing the old one!!

no really how i take it ot and how does the bk plate come off as ive got a new lcd and case for it

i know itd be easier but my old psp(the one with the broken screen) is on firmware 3.40 so i defo know i can downgrade it and itll gimme somethin gtodo while ive finished school know until september

do you have a phat or slim? for a phat you turn your psp with the screen faceing down un screw all the screws you see in the back and the ones in the battry holder then the on on the bottem of your pspturn your psp right side up and take off the faceplate use a razer and pop off the home bar on the left side and lift the conecter at the side. use the razer again and slid it betreww the lcd and the lcd holder and lift it out slowly hold the lcd forward a bit then inhuck the connecters and pull it out all the way and your done pm me if you need more help if you need it

Man, I think I might need to do this soon or something because on the edges of screen it's starting to turn black. I think it might be burning out or something...
