i need help!!!!!!!!!!

i recently got a virus on my computer well is gone now because i got an antivirus but it moved many things on my computer now i cant open anything........like whenever i click on wmp it ask me what program to open it with it gives me a list and i click on it and it will open it but theres alot of programs that are not on that list and whenever i browse for them and click on the nothing happens........i think something is wrong with my registry.......

The virus probably infected your system before you found out and removed it...

no i dont now the name of the virus but this is what happening it would change my background and on the right low side i get a shield warning me; but thats part of the viruse and now i cant not even right click and click properties it says "c:/windows/system32/rundll32.exe" "application not found"i tried it but it still not working

do you still have the system recovery cd's? the ones with windows or whatever operating system you use.

don't buy them they're very expensive. Did you try downloading an antivirus so it can delete the virus? They're might be an easier way to fix this.

yea it did fix most of the problems but i cant open it no more sense its a exe file........i even have a regestry mechaninc that i cant open

I dont know if this would help but i think it was danny who uploaded something in the vip called windows doctor and it has a registry cleaner.

i think that you are going to have to refomat your computer and reinstall windows...but that should be your last resort if you can't seem to fix it....
