My computer is haveing a rough time booting up. I cant even get to my computer where all the little icons are (lol) Ive been stairing at "WindowsXP [====]" for te longest time(the [====] is the load bar)
I cant even get on it with out going into sleep mode(its a laptop)
once its in sleep mode ill turn it back on and there im on, im useing it now and it works just fine. Altho it is a bit slower but not that much. This has been happening for the past 2days. now i dont think i did ANYTHING at all? can someone tell me what might be the problem? Im fairly good with computers but i just cant solve this one
Heres what i think could possibly be the problem...
when it was booting up(before its fucked up)I went in some type of serves mode by Pressing 'F2' then i did something stupid and clicked on "Allow WLAN speical signals" it was off but i turned it on.... and ever since it has been fucked up. But the i turn it off and its still booting up weird. Ive checked a few times and its 'OFF' so that might be some problem but i really have no idea i just thought id say that because thats the only Funnky thing i did to my computer. PLEASE HELP!!!

I reccomend defragmenting it, doing virus scans, spyware scans etc.
and also get rid of useless files on ur HDD, that slows things down a bit

maybe you can go there again and try to apply default settings. If you're able to go on your computer then you can backup all your important stuff and do a whole system recovery but that should be the final thing you do.
